2. General principle
pacmanics.de does not use analytics or marketing services, advertising networks, visitor tracking or externally hosted web fonts. The website itself does not set cookies and does not create visitor profiles.
3. Server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server log data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested URL or file, HTTP status code, referrer URL and browser or user-agent information.
This data is processed to deliver the website, diagnose technical errors, prevent misuse and attacks and maintain secure operation. Where applicable, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, stable and functional operation of the website.
4. Aggregate page-view counter
pacmanics.de uses a small server-side counter to maintain aggregate page-view totals for the website and its individual internal pages. The counter does not store IP addresses, cookies, visitor IDs, user agents, referrers or browser fingerprints. User-agent information may be read transiently only to avoid counting obvious automated crawlers and is not retained by the counter.
5. External links
Links to Instagram, YouTube, GitHub, the Arch User Repository and other project pages are ordinary external links. pacmanics.de does not embed social-media content from those services. Data is transferred to the respective destination only when a visitor opens an external link, at which point the privacy policy of that provider applies.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or session storage to build analytics, advertising or tracking profiles. No consent banner is used for the current implementation.
7. Storage period
Server log data is retained by the hosting provider only for as long as required for operation, security and error analysis and is then deleted or anonymised according to the hosting configuration.
8. Disclosure of data
pacmanics.de does not disclose personal data for advertising, analytics or tracking purposes. Technical processing may take place as part of website hosting and when a visitor opens an external link.
9. Your rights
Subject to the requirements of the GDPR, data subjects may in particular have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if technical processes, integrated services or legal requirements change.
